The Boom Boom Brass Band is a French brass band that covers classics from the traditional and modern second line culture of NOLA* (Rebirth Brass Band, Treme Brass Band, Big 6 Brass Band, TBC Brass Band, New Birth Brass Band...) as well as classics from African American musical culture (Marvin Gaye 'Sexual Healing,' Kirk Franklin 'I Smile,' Lauryn Hill 'Doo Wop,' Bill Withers 'Just the Two of Us,' Rihanna 'Wild Thoughts...') arranging them with the modern second line style featuring two drummers, funk bass grooves on sousaphone, and the typical and traditional brass and vocal sounds of New Orleans.

The band is made up of six professional musicians who are current or former members of the best brass bands from the South-West of France.

Types of performances :
Acoustic performance: Fixed and/or roaming show that is self-sufficient and adaptable (no specific setup time required).

Duration and arrangement of sets: To be defined with the organizer:
The duration of a show is 1 hour and 30 minutes, divided into adaptable sets, averaging 2 sets of 45 minutes or 3 sets of 30 minutes on stage, with a maximum of 4 sets of 20 minutes, allowing for a 10-minute break between different acoustic/roaming sets outdoors (this time allows for relocation to perform at another venue, for example).
